Nnenna Uneke is passionate about improving access to culturally responsive mental health and substance use care while minimizing the stigma associated with it through advocacy and education. She is a psychotherapist with 12 years of experience in applying research-based and person-centered methodologies to drive inclusivity in healthcare, service, and programming delivery for diverse communities.
As a licensed clinician with 19 years of experience, Nnenna Uneke also has provided direct care to individuals with disabilities and those facing substance use disorders, housing, and economic instability as a Social Worker and Case Manager before pivoting to clinical counseling. From assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing different co-occurring mental health disorders overseeing the clinical operations, and ensuring the highest standards of care. She’s currently an LMHC, LADC-1, CEAP, KAP (ketamine-assisted psychotherapist), and EMDR-certified psychotherapist focused on applying Trauma-informed and person-centered methodologies to help improve outcomes and expand access to mental healthcare, personal growth, professional development, and addiction counseling services for diverse communities.
