The traditional framework of relying solely on clinical psychologists and psychiatrists cannot scale fast enough to bridge the gap. The solution lies in task-shifting—equipping the existing community healthcare workforce, non-governmental organization (NGO) workers, educators, and faith leaders with foundational, evidence-based psychological first aid tools.
